I’ve been meaning to address the issue of ‘gear’ for some time now; and recently I’ve had some inquiries, so I figured this is as good a time as any to discuss this very important topic. I believe that the gear you choose for every day carry is as important as your choice of weapon.

Be Sure Your Firearm Is Functioning Properly and Safely Perform these Function and Safety Checks for a 1911 Pistol after every cleaning, or partial disassembly of the gun. You can also use them when evaluating a pistol for purchase. These are excellent tests to check the condition of a used 1911 prior to purchasing it.
